Officers place themselves in perilous situations every day; they do so out of a passion to serve and protect their communities, their friends, and their families. Assist the Officer was founded so that when a death, unexpected illness, or serious injury occurs while doing the job they love, the community can give back to those, and the families of those, who protect it.

Assist the Officer is a tax-exempt, non profit 501 (c) 3 organization, providing short-term financial assistance to officers. Immediate assistance is also available to an officer’s family in the event of the death of an active officer.
